I don't think I would want one. It's powered by the bikes battery. Does that mean a you have to plug in to ride with a cable reaching to the helmet? It might weigh more. probably expensive as hell.
where is the valve for the Freon

Expensive, I'm sure. I paid $$ for an Arai but well worth it (not to mention comfort) imo...! The downside is leaving it on the bike (no lock) when hanging out locally. So I'll buy an inexpensive (but high rated) 1/2 helmet, any brand recommendation?

I like the HJC is- cruiser with a built in visor.

I like my shark carbon evo, but that interests me very much, riding long trips in hot humid conditions is energy sapping. Thanks Rich

1600,Foran Razorbacks, Meerkat bypass, Dyno tune, real headlight,plenty of chrome,switchblade pegs, Hagon Nitro shocks & Ikon progressive fork springs etc. Scorpion Western Low handlebars. PH adjustable fork caps.

Lee, for sure the more ventilation the better. And (as you know) a full face helmet offers the best protection. My 3/4 Arai is white to deflect solar gain and has 8 vents.

Here's a helmet that was a game changer.
Rider was struck by lightning on I-95 in Florida.
Died instantly, poor guy. What are the odds?
